How to make your release successful?

Instagram & Facebook Promo Strategy

Fortunately or not, to become a successful Artist these days making good music is not enough šŸ˜–Ā In a modern world of digital communications, we have to invest time and effort for social media representation as well as we do for the gigs. Here are some useful notes for your IG/FB profiles.

Content Reels are the primary engagement channels (like x5 more effective) - make videos! Your fans want three things here:

If you don’t have videos - make nice pictures of yours. Be sincere, don’t try to be someone else. If you like to joke and make funny pics - awesome. You are a cool guy? Post a photo from your private jet. Everyone has their audience, just be yourself and be interesting :)

Posting strategy Plan your post and make it consistent. Already now your release date? Cool, do a post about it with some nice picture of your or micro (5-10 sec) tune preview. Here are some posting strategies for your release.

  1. Post+Stories+Reel - when you know that you gonna release (ā€hey everyone! i’m on the Label, stay tunedā€).
  2. Post - ā€œit’s 1-4 weeks before the release, can’t wait…, pre-save via linkā€.
  3. Post - Join our collaboration post on the day of the release.

We will always mention you in Feed, Stories, Reels, Soundcloud page etc. Don’t hesitate to repost!

To sum up:

Artist Profile in Streaming Services

If there's one thing every artist on Spotify or other platforms should do, it's claiming the artist page through Spotify for Artists. Claiming your page gives you more control over your Spotify profile, gives you the blue 'verified' check mark, and allows you to view more information about your streams and followers.

You can upload a banner image, write a bio, promote your shows, submit songs for playlist consideration and promote songs you love. And like love, it doesn't cost a thing.
